According to his Spotlight CV, Richard Dillane will be playing Captain Carter in the episode directed by Richard Senior.

Richard is probably best known for his portrayal of Stephen Maturin in the BBC Radio 4 adaptations of Patrick O’Brien’s Captain Jack Aubrey novels and as Australian Sergeant Brad Connor in ITV’s Soldier, Soldier. Spooks fans might recognise him as John Richardson from the sixth series episode The Broadcast.
