David Tennant and Doctor Who director Euros Lyn joined them for Friday's 'postcard' and they also feature on today's, sharing more of their news, views and good old fashioned gossip.

The Yorkshire Museum Was Taken Over By Dalek Storm

 

Yesterday (08/08/2009) one of doctor who's most extensive fans decided to take over the Yorkshire Museum With his Brilliant Fully Operational Dalek.

 

His Dalek Storm which i have blogged a few posts previous is an outstanding revamp on the daleks we have so far.

 

Here Displayed Is 2 BBC Daleks And the Dalek Storm of which i would pick to be the most extravagant and scariest enemy to be created.

Kudos To Alan For Creating This Awesome Machine. (But Alan you need to work on it that Cat doesn’t seem to be bothered by it so NOT SCARY ENOUGH:p)

The End of Time (TV story)

 

"It is said that in the final days of planet Earth, everyone had bad dreams".

Note: The title used for this article comes from the tagline used on the first teaser trailer unveiled at the San Diego ComicCon on 26th July 2009. It has not yet been confirmed by the BBC. As such, it is subject to change as the broadcast date approaches.

A two-part Doctor Who special will be broadcast during the 2009–2010 Christmas season. This will be the last story for David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor prior to the character's regeneration into his eleventh incarnation, who will be played by Matt Smith. It will also be the last Doctor Who story written by Russell T Davies, who shepherded the series' return to British television in 2005 and has been the series' executive producer and chief writer since. Davies will be succeeded as executive producer and showrunner by Steven Moffat.

REFERENCES

The name of Jessica Hynes' character, Verity Newman, is a reference to Verity Lambert and Sydney Newman. This is the second time the revived series has honoured the two people who are considered among the primary creators of Doctor Who; a similar reference occurred in Human Nature when the Doctor, under his human guise, says his parents were named Verity and Sydney.

• All the Tenth's Doctor's companions have been seen as appearing, except Martha and Mickey (so far).
• It has been confirmed that Jessica Hynes will appear as Verity Newman and published Journal of Impossible Things
• Bernard Cribbins, will return to play Wilfred Mott, grandfather of Donna Noble, will act as the Doctor's companion in this two-part story.^]
• Timothy Dalton was seen on set wearing Time Lord robes: this could mean the return of the Time Lords.
• The Ood will appear in this episode, as they may have been in the trailer.
• Timothy Dalton will play 'The Narrator'

Unconfirmed

• The Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor will appear
• It is rumoured that Dalton will be playing The Monk.
• It is rumoured that it will be revealed how the Eighth Doctor regenerated into the Ninth Doctor
• It is possible that the sequences featuring the Doctor's past companions may be part of a nightmare or dream. This is rumored from the End of Time trailer in which it mentioned those on Earth having bad dreams.
• The reason why the Ood has Red Eye is possibly that it could be possesed by the Midnight Entity
