Series 6 Casting News
According to his Agency CV Danny Sapani appears in Demons Run as Colonel Manton. Danny will be well known to genre viewers as raging probabtion officer Tony Morecombe from the first episode of Misfits. He recently appeared in the first episode of Garrow’s Law’s second series as anti-slavery campaigner Gustavus Vassa. The same agency reports that Lee Ross (right) who played Gene Hunt’s long-standing rival, DCI Derek Litton in Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes will be playing Boatswain in the Sherlock-scribe Steve Thompson’s episode. Lee is also well known for playing the character of Owen Turner in Eastenders, but is probably best known to folks of a certain generation for playing Kenny Phillips in Steven Moffat’s first televisual masterpiece Press Gang.
