Lily Cole in Doctor Who

MODEL Lily Cole is to join Doctor Who - as a mysterious sea creature.

It means Karen Gillan's reign as the show's most stunning redhead could be over.

Gorgeous Lily, 22, will appear alongside Time Lord Matt Smith and his assistant Amy Pond, played by Karen, in the new BBC1 series later this year.

The episode, set in the 1600s, will see the Tardis landing on top of a pirate ship.

Lily told TV Biz: "It is a great script and a fun character and I am glad to be involved." An insider said: "Lily's a big fan of the show and jumped at the chance to appear. She will play a sea creature in an episode based around a well-known tale. It's a real ocean adventure."

Dr who - series 6 What little boys are made of?

More details on Mark Gatiss’ upcoming episode from Series 6 of Doctor Who have been revealed.

An new article in Doctor Who Magazine confirms that the working title of episode 9 was indeed What Are Little Boys Made Of? However, Gatiss said it will most likely be changed as he feels it is a bit too long.

Gatiss says that there are two potential new titles currently being mulled. They are “House Call” and “Night Terrors“. Gatiss prefers the latter.

As was rumoured, the story will focus on a young boy called George who has a nervous disposition. He is particularly scared of something in his cupboard. Although Gatiss doesn’t reveal what exactly, we can hazard a guess that it will be the dolls or have something to do with them
