Daisy Lowe: How I keep the romance with Doctor Who star Matt Smith
HE can travel though space and time... so going out with Doctor Who is bound to play havoc with your internal body clock.
And loved-up supermodel Daisy Lowe confirms that time has actually ACCELERATED while she’s been actor Matt Smith’s lover.
She says: “It’s our one-year anniversary next week, and it’s flown by, which is a good sign.”
It certainly is. Daisy told me all about her out-of-this-world romance with the Doctor Who star, who is working long hours filming in Wales while she stays in London.
The 22-year-old says: “We hardly see each other because he works from six in the morning to eight in the evening in Cardiff during the week. So at the weekend I go and surprise him where he is staying. I give him long massages or whatever he likes because you’ve got to keep the romance alive.”
The couple split briefly last year before reuniting during a beach holiday on the Italian isle of Capri.
“I’m like the perfect girlfriend when I see him,” Daisy went on. “I cook for him, clean for him, I do everything.
“I’m getting really good now. I make him a lovely roast on a Sunday, which he really enjoys, and a nice Jamie Oliver one-minute steak stir-fry.
“And Matt loves my curves too – he loves the exotic look.”
Daisy, the daughter of Pearl Lowe, has just been signed up as the new face of Stephen Webster jewellery – replacing Christina Aguilera in the process.
The model, who was chatting away to me at the Wrigley’s Eat Drink Chew bash at Smiths, East London, plans to visit Matt in Wales next week to celebrate 12 months of loved-uppiness.
She says: “When he’s not filming he’s learning lines. He’s so into it, he loves it.
“I didn’t watch Doctor Who before, but now I do love a Dalek. I watched the first episode he was in, and then the next week I met him at Coachella festival in California and we’re still together.”

Australian premiere for The Impossible Astronaut confirmed
Australia joins the list of countries that have now confirmed the broadcast date for Matt Smith's second series of Doctor Who. TV Tonight have reported that ABC1 will premier The Impossible Astronaut on Saturday 30th April at 7:30pm. The show will also be made available on the company's iView service (though there is no confirmation of if episodes will premier on the service like last year).
An ABC spokesperson told the site:
ABC TV has scheduled the new series of Doctor Who to screen Saturdays at 7.30pm on ABC1, which we believe is the best slot to reach the family audience. (We are) not able to broadcast Doctor Who until after it screens in the UK. So, in anticipation that the BBC will launch the new series over Easter in the UK, we have scheduled the series to start the following weekend.

The Doctor vs. Hitler!?!
Remember these guys from the trailer at the end of A Christmas Carol?
Well, it looks like they aren’t the only Nazi’s in Series Six. This poster mentioned that he had been told that yesterday filming had taken place featuring a scene where the TARDIS crashes through a wall in Hitler’s office.
@LaineRussell: there were people dressed up in Nazi uniform and others in Victorian style dresses. But he didn’t get chance 2 take pics
@EmLou85: River Song, Amy, the Doctor, nazis and Hitler… Could be interesting!!
