DOCTOR Who is being sexed up to make the new assistant a KISSOGRAM, TV Biz can reveal.
Smooch operator ... Karen Gillan as Amy Pond
Show fans expected Amy Pond, played by Karen Gillan, 22, would be a cop - but the officer's uniform is just part of her saucy job.
Karen will be seen in various short skirts when she makes her entrance alongside the new Doctor Matt Smith, 26, in the Spring.
And she gets to demonstrate her kissing skills on the Time Lord.
A show insider revealed: "Everyone thinks she is this prim and proper policewoman, however it's going to be revealed early on that she works as a kissogram.
"It's going to be a bit of a shock for the fans, but I think they're going to enjoy it.
"Amy Pond's a really strong character and Karen is great in the role."
Amy's cheeky part is just one of new boss Steven Moffat's ideas to give the series more "edge".
The source added: "Moffat's an edgier writer and the show is going in an exciting new direction."
But will the move ANNOY some of the show's notoriously fussy fanbase?
Gillan is the latest in a long line of Doctor's assistants which includes Catherine Tate, Billie Piper, Kylie Minogue, Michelle Ryan and Freema Agyeman.

Theres not much going on in the Whoniverse ATM, I'm expecting some Torchwood new series news within days, but thats about all.
Although there are still daily posts on my blog, and I will cover anything that is Who related and newsworthy, I thought I'd use this time to advertise :)

I really didn't think the reptiles in the trailer were sea devils, but i compared the pictures and now think they might be a redesign with two breeds...
