The Sarah Jane Adventures Episode Guide





The series features Elisabeth Sladen as an investigative journalist helping aliens when they need it and preventing evil aliens from taking over the world. The target market is children!

The following guide for season 2, 2008, is based on rumour, conjecture and internet comments. Filming has yet to be completed so anything can change, and some information listed is likely to be inaccurate.

Nicholas Courtney is definitely definitely going to be in The Sarah Jane Adventures. Yay!

Rumoured that Sarah has nightmares about Davros and is convinced he survived the destruction in the Medusa Cascade. With Earth being the only planet left just before the explosion, where else would he go?


The Last Sontaran

A Sontaran, left behind on Earth, begins a plan to take over London, with the help of Mrs Wormwood. Special guest appearance of the Brigadier who is semi-retired. K9 may also make an appearance.
Notes: The Brigadier has a gun in his cane and shoots a Sontaran in the probic vent with it.

The Doctor, played by David Tennant, may make a guest appearance. This story celebrates 45 years of Doctor Who. (23rd November 1963)


Some notes: In 2007 the series was screened on a Monday. It is rumoured that the series will move to an early morning Saturday slot. Dates above are just suggestions but if the BBC wants to celebrate the 45th anniversary then these dates will be pretty close!

Season 2 2008 is set not long after the adventures in Doctor Who: The Stolen Earth and Journey's End

Season 2 filming began in July 2008 in Cardiff.

Season 3 has been confirmed for 2009.

Doctor Who Wins Festival Award Series named as top show once more.




Doctor Who has won the trophy for Best Programme Of 2008 at the Edinburgh TV festival's annual awards.

It was the second year in a row that the series has won in the Best Programme category.

Step Back In Time UK Sci Fi Channel reruns Classic Series highlights.




With a rainy Bank Holiday weekend forecast for much of the UK, the only ray of sunshine for Who fans seems to be the marathon of Classic Series stories being screened on the Sci Fi Channel.

The schedule, running from Saturday 23 August to Monday 25 August, will mainly focus on adventures from the Fourth and Fifth Doctors.

Highlights include such classics as The Ark In Space, Earthshock and The Caves Of Androzani.

In addition, there will be another chance to see the 1996 TV movie starring Paul McGann and Sylvester McCoy and The Two Doctors, starring Patrick Troughton and Colin Baker.

Doctor Who Episode Blink For Top Genre






Future Doctor Who Executive Producer Steven Moffat has scooped his third Hugo Award in a row.

Blink, written by Steven and directed by Hettie Macdonald, beat off strong competition from Paul Cornell's two-parter Human Nature/The Family of Blood and Catherine Treganna's Torchwood episode Captain Jack Harkness to be voted Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form.

The 2008 awards winners were announced on Saturday night at the WorldCon event in Denver.

The Hugo Awards celebrate the best of science-fiction across various media.

Steven has previously won Hugo awards for his Doctor Who episodes The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances and The Girl in the Fireplace.
