It was originally thought that the four of this year's special Doctor Who episodes would air over the four seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter but it seems that this is no longer the case. In a recent interview conducted by Doctor Who Magazine and featured in their latest issue, Gareth Roberts has revealed that the second Doctor Who special will air on Christmas day. This means that after Planet of the Dead, which will air around Easter, there will be no more episodes of Doctor Who until Christmas. During that time of wait, there will however be the third series of Torchwood and the third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures to look forward to. At the moment, it is unknown when the third and fourth of this year's Doctor Who specials will air but speculation suggests that it will be in the run up to the new year. More information regarding the specials and their transmission dates will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
